Dozens of community members and guests attended the festive inauguration event in which a brand new Torah Scroll was introduced into the Shchukino ‘Beit David’ Community in Moscow, headed by Rabbi Avraham Libshitz.
The new Torah scroll, introduced into the Moscow neighborhood synagogue, was donated by the German family who also attended the event along with additional community members and distinguished guests.
After a musical parade along the streets of the neighborhood, the Torah scroll was welcomed with dancing and singing into the ‘Beit David’ synagogue. Thereafter, the crowd was invited to a festive meal where words of wisdom were delivered by the community rabbi and additional prominent community members.
