Nearly three months to the day after being brutally slashed in a horrific Chanukah terror spree in the home of a Monsey rabbi, Yosef Neumann, a 72-year-old man has passed away of his injuries.
he passed away on Sunday night at the Friedwald Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in New City and his death was not coronavirus related.
Neumann was one of five injured in the attack that took place at the home of Rabbi Chaim Leibish Rottenberg in the Forshay section of Monsey.
As previously reported on Chabadinfo.com, Neumann had been on a respirator for 59 days before opening his eyes in February.
The Levaya for Neumann will take place Monday morning in Monsey.
