Pre-Rosh Hashanah Event in Rudny, Kazakhstan, Inspires Local Jewish Community

Rabbi Zalmanov delivered inspiring words about the essence of Rosh Hashanah, emphasizing the importance of hearing the shofar and crowning Hashem as King of the world. The evening also included a practical lesson on the mitzvah of Tashlich, helping participants gain a deeper understanding.
Attendees heard the shofar of Elul, put on Tefillin in preparation for Rosh Hashanah, and learned about the holiday’s symbols and the sequence of blessings. Rabbi Zalmanov explained the significance of the shofar as a call to renewed closeness to Hashem and a fresh commitment to His sovereignty. The gathering concluded with prayers for the coming of Moshiach and the building of the Third Beis Hamikdash.
During the event, beautifully prepared holiday kits were distributed, including Kiddush sheets, apples, honey, Shabbos and Yom Tov candles, and special kits for children. Rabbi Zalmanov also conducted home visits, helping isolated Jews put on Tefillin and distributing kosher food and educational materials to ensure everyone could celebrate Rosh Hashanah properly.
The Jewish community of Rudny received the event with great enthusiasm, committing to increase in Mitzvos and good deeds in preparation for Rosh Hashanah and to hasten the arrival of the complete redemption.
