In keeping with the Rebbe’s directive to increase in Torah study and tzedakah during the Three Weeks, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Wilhelm, Shliach and rabbi of Israel’s Ministry of Transportation, visited government officials this week to encourage participation in these mitzvos.
During the visits, Rabbi Wilhelm met with cabinet ministers, members of the Knesset, local government leaders, and other public officials, giving them the opportunity to study Torah, contribute to tzedakah, and presenting them with a complete set of the Tanya, the foundational work of Chabad Chassidus.
