On Chof Daled Teves, the yahrtzeit of the Alter Rebbe, the Rebbe’s shliach to Egged and the Ministry of Transportation, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Wilhelm, visited the offices of senior government officials, where he learned with them and presented each with the new Tanya Hasholeim.
Among those he met were Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, Energy Minister Eli Cohen, Tourism and Housing Minister Chaim Katz, Communications Minister Shlomo Karhi, and State Comptroller Matanyahu Englman. The visits highlighted the continued spread of the Alter Rebbe’s teachings at every level of public life.
