The procession departed from the Shamgar Funeral Home and continued to Har HaZeisim, where she was laid to rest near the Kever of her husband, Rabbi Shalom Mendel Kalmenson OBM, The Rebbe’s Shliach in Aubervilliers, France.
Mrs. Kalmenson, daughter of Rabbi Uziel Khazanov OBM, was among the veteran Shluchos of the Rebbe in France. For decades, she devoted her life with selflessness and strength to Jewish education and community life, touching countless families and inspiring generations to live proudly as Jews.
May it be Hashem’s will that very soon the promise be fulfilled: “הקיצו ורננו שוכני עפר” — “Those who dwell in the dust will arise and sing,” and she among them.
