He was eliminated in an Israeli airstrike in the Khan Younis area of southern Gaza. According to the IDF, he was responsible for the operational readiness of Hamas’s Nukhba terrorists and had been involved in efforts to advance terrorist attacks against Israel.
In a separate strike carried out on the same day in the Nuseirat area of central Gaza, the IDF eliminated another Nukhba terrorist in Hamas’s military wing.
The IDF said both terrorists had been working throughout the war, and particularly in recent weeks, to advance plans for attacks against IDF forces and Israeli civilians.
They were also involved in efforts to restore Hamas’s operational capabilities.
The military said their activities constituted violations of the ceasefire and that the strikes were carried out to remove the threats they posed to Israeli forces and civilians.
