The IDF has cleared for publication that Idan Fox, HY”D, 19, from Petach Tikva, a soldier in Battalion 77 of the “Sa’ar MiGolan” (7th) Brigade, was killed in an explosive drone attack during operational activity in southern Lebanon while defending communities in Eretz Yisroel.
His Levaya was today (Monday) at 4:00 PM in the military section of Segula Cemetery in Petach Tikva.
In the same incident, an officer and three soldiers were seriously wounded, one soldier was moderately injured, and another sustained light injuries. All six were evacuated for medical treatment, and their families have been notified.
During the incident, two additional explosive drones were launched toward the forces near the village of Taybeh. One was intercepted and exploded near troops evacuating the wounded! Baruch Hashem, no further injuries were reported!
In response, the IDF carried out strikes on Hezbollah infrastructure in southern Lebanon.
