Kiddush Hashem at Newark Airport: Yesterday, marked 21 years since 9/11, the day the Twin Towers were attacked in Lower Manhattan. Senior police officers who work at the Newark airport in New Jersey commemorated the 9/11 victims.

New Jersey based Shliach, Rabbi Mordechai Kanelsky, Chairman of Bris Avrohom, was invited to speak, he said: “It is true that on this is the day (9/11), when 3,000 people were killed, and their bodies went, but the soul and spirit of a person always remains. We need to do something good for the benefit of those people, and for the benefit of the world. And not only on 9/11 but every day – by doing something good deeds for people, it can add to the good in the world. And if each one helps the other, we can build what they want to destroy, and the world will be better prepared for the time when there will be peace in the world – the coming of the Moshiach.”

His son, Shliach at Newark Airport, Rabbi Avraham Kanelsky, blew the shofar and explained the greatness of Elul. After that, the crowd stood for the prayer of “א-ל מלא רחמים”.
