Magen David Adom teams were dispatched to the scene, treated the injured, and evacuated them to Sheba Tel Hashomer Medical Center.
According to an initial investigation, the regional security system identified a suspicious Palestinian individual and also received an additional report regarding the suspect. A Paratroopers Brigade force that was called to the scene located the terrorist, and during the inspection he suddenly attacked with stabbing blows — at which point he was shot and killed.
The IDF stated: “A short time ago, following a report of a suspicious individual near the community of Ateret in the Binyamin Brigade area, IDF forces arrived at the location. During the inspection of the suspect, he began stabbing the soldiers, who responded with gunfire and neutralized him.”
