The Tanya printing operation is known to be a very important request from the Rebbe. Its mission is to print the sefer wherever Jews reside, with the spiritual goal of turning every corner of the world into a place from which the light of Chassidus is spread, ultimately getting the world ready for Moshiach’s coming.

The Tanya was printed for the first time on Texas’s South Padre Island, a beachy oasis on the southern tip of the state, with the help of bochurim Eli Superstein and Moshe Adelist, who traveled to the area on Merkos Shlichus.

They dedicated the printing to the two late mashpiim Yoel Kahn and Pinye Korf, who both passed in recent weeks.

They involved members of the local community in their project, bringing a new simcha to town. Following its printing, the bochurim gathered several community members to learn from the freshly printed sefer.
