Queens Yeshiva Hosts Yud Daled Kislev Banquet at New Chabad House
In honor of the 96th anniversary of the Rebbe and Rebbetzin’s wedding, Yeshivas Tomchei Temimim Queens held a festive banquet at Rabbi Zalman Liberow’s new Chabad House in Flatbush. Bochurim, Hanhalah, and families enjoyed a gourmet meal, inspiring words from Bashpi’im, raffles marking the end of a three-week mivtzah, and spirited dancing. Thursday night, Yud Daled Kislev, in honor of the 96th anniversary of the wedding of the Rebbe MH”M and Rebbetzin, a gala banquet took place in a special hall in the new Chabad House of Rabbi Zalman Liberow in Flatbush, for the talmidim of Yeshivas Tomchei Temimim Lubavitch Queens. The bochurim, hanhalah, and family members were treated to a gourmet three-course meal while listening to the history of the momentous occasion and inspiring words from the speakers.
The evening was very uplifting and inspiring, hearing the words of the mashpi’im and the shliach, Rabbi Liberow.
It was also the end of a three-week Mivtzah that the Bochurim in Shiur Daled had arranged. They took the opportunity to hold many raffles, with numerous gifts given out.
The official part of the evening came to an end when the live music began playing, and the Bochurim broke out in exuberant dancing to celebrate together with our Rebbe, as per an answer from the Rebbe about the chassidim’s farbrengen on Yud Daled Kislev 5739.
After bentching, the bochurim sat down to a farbrengen with shliach Rabbi Zalman Liberow of Flatbush, the yeshiva’s very own Rabbi Yisroel Noach Vogel, and the rest of the Mashpi’im, with many hachlatos taken as a result, in connection with the number 90. The farbrengen lasted until 2:00 in the morning.
