An Upshernish celebration was held in 770 on Erev Shabbos for Shneur Zalman Granovetter, son of Rabbi Yisroel Granovetter, director of the Machon Lehafotzas Toraso Shel Moshiach.
In honor of the Simchah, a special Teshurah – ‘Kovetz Maamorim’ was published, featuring three newly released Hanachos of maamarim from the Rebbe Melech HaMoshiach.
The newly published maamorim include:
- “Ishah Ki Sazria” – 5725 (1965)
- “Ki Sisa” – 5728 (1968)
- “Ki Sisa” – 5729 (1969)
The first two Ma’amorim were previously edited and approved by the Rebbe and published in Sefer HaMaamorim Melukat, and later in Sefer HaMaamorim – Parshiyos U’Moadim, released by the ‘Machon’. The newly published unedited Hanachos, however, contain a wealth of additional material and details that did not appear in the edited versions.
The third maamar, “Ki Sisa” 5729, was not in the institute’s possession when Sefer HaMaamorim – Parshiyos U’Moadim was originally published and therefore did not appear in that volume. It is now being published for the first time in Yiddish as part of the teshurah. The ‘Machon’ noted that, Be’ezras Hashem, future editions of the sefer will include a Hebrew translation together with source references.
The ‘Machon Lehafotzas Toraso Shel Moshiach.’ expressed special appreciation to its dedicated activist, Hatomim Moshe Nachman Halevi Krolopsky, and to another Bochur who requested anonymity, for their efforts in obtaining the newly discovered Hanachos. These join a growing collection of previously unpublished Ma’amorim that have recently been released, with additional material expected to be published in the near future, Be’ezras Hashem.
