During the meeting, Rabbi Kaploun shared with the Prime Minister that he had been present at 770 during the well-known encounter between The Rebbe and Netanyahu during Hakafos.
The Prime Minister responded emotionally, saying that “not a day goes by that I don’t remember The Rebbe’s words.” He warmly wished Rabbi Kaploun success in his Senate confirmation process and in the vital mission of combating antisemitism worldwide.
Netanyahu also emphasized the unwavering support shown by President Donald Trump for the State of Israel and the Jewish people, calling it “historic and unparalleled.”
