Rabbi Nechemia and Shaina Gurevitz (nee Lerman) will be moving out on shlichus to Hall County, Georgia, just an hour north of Atlanta.
Bordering scenic Lake Lanier, Hall County is home to several retirement communities, lakeside estates, and small towns. Around 1,000 Jews call the area home.
“The Chabad Jewish Center of Hall County is committed to providing every Jew of the area the opportunity to celebrate the joy of being Jewish through programs that nurture connections, belonging, personal fulfillment, and spiritual growth,” said Rabbi Gurevitz.
Their move on shlichus coincides with the period leading up to Yud Aleph Nissan, the 120th birthday of the Rebbe MH”M. Many Shluchim and mosdos the world around are creating new projects and initiatives in preparation for the auspicious day.
