    New Shluchim To Philadelphia

The family of Shluchim welcomes new Shluchim to the team! Rabbi Levi and Moussia Shaw (nee Goldman) and their daughter Chana have been appointed as new shluchim to Center City, Philadelphia.  Full Story

Rabbi Levi and Moussia Shaw (nee Goldman) and their daughter Chana have been appointed as new shluchim to Center City, Philadelphia.

Philadelphia’s bustling heart, Center City blends skyscrapers and historic sites, like the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall, where the Declaration of Independence was signed. Impressionist art at the Barnes Foundation and science exhibits at the Franklin Institute are among dozens of premier museum collections… Lots of places to do Mivtzoim.

The Shaws look forward to growing the vibrant community at B’nai Abraham Chabad together with Rabbi Yochonon and Leah Goldman, who have been leading the community over the past 24 years.

Building on the foundation of Chabad’s presence in Philadelphia for over 60 years ka”h, their primary focus will be on creating opportunities for the next generation including Hebrew school, Shabbos and Yom Tov programs and community events to foster a sense of community and Jewish pride among the youth.

Their goal is to connect to people, one by one, and to build relationships that will inspire a deeper commitment to Torah and Mitzvos as guided by the Rebbe’s teachings, which will prepare this corner of the world for the Geulah Shleima.

But they can’t do it alone. Your support of this kickstart campaign is crucial to this shlichus getting off the ground and will give the boost needed to begin immediately. Please consider partnering with the new Shluchim in this exciting new endeavor, to work together to build a warm and welcoming community in the heart of the city of brotherly love.
