Nearly 1,000 Chabad Chassidim, Shluchim, and guests from around the world gathered for the central event and Chassidishe farbrengen held in honor of the yahrtzeit of Harav HaGaon HaMekubal Rabbi Levi Yitzchak Schneerson, father of the Rebbe, in a magnificent hall in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
The many guests who arrived from countries across the globe were warmly welcomed upon landing at the airport and transported by air-conditioned buses to their hotels.
Throughout the days surrounding the Yahrtzeit, guests benefited from an extensive Hachnasas Orchim operation that provided full accommodations, lavish meals, organized minyanim, Chassidic farbrengens, Torah classes, and, of course, the opportunity to daven at the holy resting place of the Baal HaHilulah.
The central gathering brought together Rabbanim, the Rebbe’s Shluchim, and Anash from around the world, who united to mark the yahrtzeit by strengthening themselves in the path of Rabbi Levi Yitzchak and deepening their Hiskashrus to the Rebbe.
