IDF Navy Commander Maj. Gen. Eyal Harel invited Rabbi Menachem Ofen, the Rebbe Melech HaMoshiach’s Shliach to the IDF and security forces, to a Rosh Hashanah toast with the Navy’s senior command.
Rabbi Ofen blew the Shofar and conveyed the Rebbe’s bracha for the new year to the senior officers. Maj. Gen. Harel also put on Tefillin, fulfilling the verse, “And all the nations of the earth shall see that the Name of Hashem is upon you, and they shall fear you” — referring to the Tefillin worn on the head.
