The Mayor of Ulm, Germany, Martin Ansbacher, paid a special visit to the local Chabad House, where he met personally with the campers of Gan Israel Camp—young Shluchim from around the world—and later invited them to tour City Hall.
During the visit, Mayor Ansbacher expressed his appreciation for the fact that children of Shluchim from across the globe had come to visit Ulm. He remarked that it was important to meet the next generation of Jewish leaders who are making a positive impact on the world.
The campers welcomed the mayor with lively singing and dancing. At the conclusion of their visit to City Hall, each participant received a special commemorative gift from the Municipality of Ulm.
