Hundreds Enter Tomchei Tmimim at 20 Cheshvan Farbrengen in Beit Shemesh

Hundreds of Anash and alumni fulfilled the Rebbe’s hora’ah to enter Tomchei Tmimim on Chof Cheshvan, with a festive Melaveh Malkah and farbrengen into the night at Yeshiva Gedola Lubavitch in Beit Shemesh • Full Story

Hundreds of Anash and alumni of the yeshiva gathered at the ‘Yeshiva Gedola Lubavitch’ hall in Beit Shemesh, led by Rosh Yeshiva Rabbi Yisrael Nachman Lerner, to fulfill the Rebbe MHM’s hora’ah to “enter Tomchei Tmimim” in honor of Chof Cheshvan, the birthday of the Rebbe Rashab, founder and president of the Tomchei Tmimim yeshivos.

Throughout Shabbos, many Anash visited the yeshiva’s hall. At midday, the tmimim sat for an uplifting Chassidic farbrengen with Rabbi Lerner and the yeshiva’s menahel, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Tahaler, on the meaning of the hora’ah – and on the obligation to thank Hashem for the zechus of being counted among the “soldiers of the House of David” standing on the front line of conquering the world through Torah study, bringing about the full hisgalus of the Rebbe Melech HaMoshiach.

At the conclusion of Shabbos, the circles widened as hundreds of Anash, friends and alumni streamed into the hall for a festive Melaveh Malkah around set tables and a farbrengen that continued into the night, led by the yeshiva’s rabbonim: Rabbi Baruch Boaz Yurkovitz, Mora D’Asra and Rav of the Chabad community in Lod and a member of Machon Halacha Chabad; Rabbi Moshe Kornwitz, Mora D’Asra and Rav of the Chabad community in Ramah Daled and a member of Machon Halacha Chabad; alongside Rabbi Rafael Tzvi Hartman, one of the elder Chassidim and an Anash mashpia in Beit Shemesh.

In their words, the rabbonim addressed the foundations of Tomchei Tmimim chinuch, for which the Rebbe Rashab gave his very soul, and the Rebbe MHM’s hora’ah to carry the yeshiva’s spirit into daily life as “neiros leha’ir” – illuminating their surroundings with full mesirus nefesh for the one and only Shlichus: preparing the entire world to greet Moshiach Tzidkeinu, mamash.
