A rare bound volume of handwritten pesakim by the Tzemach Tzedek was redeemed and given a jubilant welcome at Yeshivas Tomchei Tmimim Lubavitch in Netanya on Motzaei Shabbos, 20 Cheshvan.
The rare “baikhel” of the Tzemach Tzedek’s halachic rulings was redeemed through the efforts of the Rosh Yeshiva, Rabbi Moshe Ornstein. It contains close to one hundred glosses and pages in the Tzemach Tzedek’s own holy handwriting, many of them never before printed.
The arrival brought a sweeping wave of simcha to the yeshiva. R’ Simcha Friedman and R’ Yossi Zoldan skillfully brought about the redemption of the precious volume.

Later in the night, the tmimim sat down to a farbrengen with Rabbi Ornstein that lasted until the light of morning, joined by many Anash from across the area who streamed in to take part in the celebration.
