Organizers have announced a venue change for the central Rosh Chodesh Kislev farbrengen, moving to a larger and grander hall following what they describe as an outpouring of warm responses, with preparations at their height for the jubilee-year celebration.
“Due to the many warm responses, we moved to a more spacious and grander venue,” the organizers announced. “Preparations are now at their height for the central and festive farbrengen marking fifty years since the Yom HaBehiri of Rosh Chodesh Kislev, with the participation of rabbonim, mashpiim and Shluchim, around set tables, with a festive seudas mitzvah and an abundance of song.”
Heading the farbrengen are Rabbi Menachem Mendel Axelrod, the Rebbe’s Shliach and Chief Rabbi of Moldova, and the mashpia Rabbi Eliezer Ashkenazi of Yeshivas Chanoch L’Naar in Tzfas.
The farbrengen will take place this Monday, 29 Cheshvan 5787 (Nov. 9), at 8:00pm at the “Dush Harmony” Event Center, 15 HaAmal Street, Bat Yam. Entry is free; the farbrengen is for men only.
