On Thursday afternoon, after the Rebbe’s Mincha minyan, Shluchim split into special workshops on life on Shlichus.
The first panel was on how to manage a Chabad House, the financial perspective, with financial consultant Ran Regev, who gave an in-depth workshop on running a nonprofit from the financial side, defining and achieving goals, managing budgets, profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow.
Another panel focused on the Rebbe’s directive to establish Chabad Houses in every single place, in all corners of the globe. With shluchim, Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Levi – Manila, Philippines, Rabbi Aryeh Greenberg – Mazkeret Batya, Israel, share the principles and guidelines for putting up a Chabad House building.
Rabbis Menachem Mendel Lerner and Chaim Rivkin of Rishon LeZion, Israel, led a workshop about bringing Yidden to the Rebbe! The purpose and goal of shlichus is to bring the people of the Chabad House to 770, to the Rebbe Melech HaMoshiach. They addressed how to put the group together, logistics and the tremendous impact on the participants, and the change in the atmosphere of the Chabad House following the trip.
