Dozens of bochurim learning in 770 gathered Sunday night to prepare for the annual fundraiser of “Kupas Bochurim”. The fund provides subsidized packages for Pesach, allowing bochurim to purchase new clothes for Yom Tov.
Many of the bochurim who come to spend the year learning in 770 day and night, simply don’t have the ability to support themselves with the most needed day to day necessities, and when it comes to extra large expenses, such as a winter coat, clothing, and Yom Tov expenses, they have nowhere to turn.
During the gathering, they spoke about the organization’s activities that bochurim enjoy throughout the year. The bochurim were asked to help as much as they could and to take responsibility for themselves and their friends for the success of the campaign.
The bochurim have pledged to assist as much as they can, setting up fundraising goals and teams to enlist their family and friends to donate.
