Following a lengthy back and forth between the Bochrim of the Yeshiva and Rabbi Moshe Meir Gluckowsky, the secretary of the Yeshiva, the Yeshiva kitchen has been reopened for the first time in over a week.

As we have reported, last week Sunday, the Yeshiva’s secretary, Rabbi Moshe Meir Gluckowsky closed down the Yeshiva’s kitchen on his own accord, against the will of the Hanhallah Ruchnis.

Since then, the over 200 Bochurim that remained in Crown Heights in accordance with the Hanhallah Ruchnis have resorted to having to run a crowdfunding campaign in order to cover their expenses of arranging food for themselves.

On Friday, Rabbi Gluckowsky announced that he would be reopening the kitchen on Sunday, but when Sunday came around, the doors were locked and there was no food prepared.

Baruch Hashem, this morning, Breakfast was prepared in takeout containers for the Bochurim to take with them.
