Crown Heights Shmira released surveillance footage showing a suspicious individual walking onto private porches and around residential properties at approximately 2:00 AM. The individual appeared to be looking around homes and checking for items left outside.
According to community reports, the suspect was seen moving from house to house, stepping onto porches and scanning properties for unsecured belongings such as packages, bicycles, children’s toys, or other valuables left outdoors overnight.
Shmira urged residents to remain vigilant, secure outdoor items when possible, and immediately report any suspicious activity to Shmira or the NYPD.
