Mrs. Frumey Shubov, an active member of the Chabad community in Toronto, beloved mother and grandmother passed away on Sunday, 23 Kislev, 5783
She was 53 years old.
Frumey was a young bubby, Mikvah attendant, and dedicated member of the Chevrah Kadisha, who gave of herself tirelessly to everyone and anyone in need.
The embodiment of true chessed, her home was open to all, the numerous Tehilim groups that she single-handedly ran for others to have their yeshuois, her table was never without guests, a wedding rarely passed in our community in which she did not participate in or actually host a sheva brochos.
Frumey also single-handedly ran numerous Tehilim groups for others to have their yeshuos.
Above all, she has been the listening ear and supportive friend of so, so many.
She is survived by her husband Reb Mendel Shubov of Toronto, and her children Yitzchok Shmuel Shubov – Toronto; Nechama Orimland – Redondo Beach, California; Mushka Hershkop – Kingston, PA; Shaina Leah Zirkind, Kingston, PA; and Chaim Shubov – Crown Heights.
She is also survived by her father Rabbi Avrohom Zellig HaLevi Tarshish of Florida, and siblings Liba Silberstein – Chicago IL, Chaya Sara Shaul, Eli – Israel; Simi Nodel– North Miami Beach FL; Elky Nodel – North Miami Beach, FL; Yecheal Tarshish – Chicago, IL; Berky Tarshish – Crown Heights; and Shani Brown – Cleveland, Ohio.
She was predeceased by her mother Mrs. Chana Miriam Tarshish, of Chicago/Florida.
The Levaya will be held Sunday, 24 Kislev at Lubavitch House 770 Chabad Gate 770 at 1:15 PM, kevura at Pardes Sholom Cemetery, Chabad Section, at 2:00 PM.
