France: Levaya of Shlucha Mrs. Batya Kalmenson OBM
In France, hundreds gathered to bid farewell at the Levaya of Mrs. Batya Kalmenson, OBM (95), one of the veteran Shluchos of The Rebbe in France. She was the daughter of Rabbi Uziel Khazanov OBM and the wife of Rabbi Shalom Mendel Kalmenson OBM, The Rebbe’s Shliach in Aubervilliers, France. The Aron will be flown to Eretz Yisrael for a Levaya in Yerushalayim, with Kevurah on Har Hazeisim, near the Kever of her husband, Rabbi Shalom Mendel Kalmenson OBM.
May it be Hashem’s will that very soon the promise be fulfilled: “הקיצו ורננו שוכני עפר”, “Those who dwell in the dust will arise and sing,” and she among them.
