To mark the 75th anniversary of the Rebbe’s Nesius, an official limited-edition silver coin has been issued in cooperation with the Government of Niue, an island nation associated with New Zealand. According to the organizers, it is the first legal-tender coin in the world to feature the Rebbe’s portrait.
The commemorative coin was produced by Collect 2 Connect in partnership with the New Zealand Mint and the Government of Niue. Struck in Proof quality from one troy ounce of .999 fine silver, each coin carries a face value of one Niue dollar, making it official legal tender while also serving as a collector’s item.
One side of the coin features a portrait of the Rebbe alongside the words “Brocha V’Hatzlocha” (“Blessing and Success”) in multiple languages. The reverse depicts 770 Eastern Parkway together with a radiant Menorah, symbolizing the worldwide spread of the wellsprings of Chassidus and the Rebbe’s global network of Shluchim.
A unique feature of the release is that the silver used in every coin incorporates material from a dime that was originally distributed by the Rebbe, giving each piece a direct connection to the Rebbe’s personal distribution of dollars and dimes.
The coin’s official theme is “Spreading the Light,” reflecting the Rebbe’s lifelong mission of spreading Torah, Mitzvos, and Yiddishkeit throughout the world.
The artwork was created by internationally recognized coin designer Sandra Deiana.
Only 5,786 coins have been minted, making the commemorative issue a rare collector’s item honoring the 75th year of the Rebbe’s leadership.

When someone wanted to make a stamp with a picture of the Altar Rebbe the Rebbe completely rejected idea and send instead to put a Pisgam.
I heard it from the person himself and he showed stamps that he made with a Pisgam.
