On Rosh Chodesh Adar 1931, The Frierdiker Rebbe came to the town of Rakshik, where he stayed at the home of the R’ Pesach Roch, who, in preparation for the Rebbe’s imminent arrival, connected the electricity of his house to the grid and built a special room for the Rebbe to stay in. Etan Shelach posted on his social media account a new and unknown photo of the Frierdiker Rebbe and wrote the following: “The Rebbe’s father-in-law visiting our house, (The Roch family) in the town of Rakishuk in Lithuania. photographed by my father.”
On Rosh Chodesh Adar 1931, The Rebbe came to Rakshik, where he stayed at the home of the Chasidishe Governor R. Pesach Roch, who at the time connected the electricity of his house to the grid and built a special room for the Rebbe’s visit.
