A moving celebration marked the Siyum of a Sefer Torah written in the ancient shul atop Masada. Following the completion of the final letters, the Sefer Torah embarked on a special journey to the shul in Yevul, a community in the Gaza border region.
The unique initiative was made possible through the efforts of Beis Chabad of the Dead Sea and Masada, led by Shliach Rabbi Shimon Elharar, together with the Israel Nature and Parks Authority, JNF-KKL leadership, residents of Yevul and donors from the United States.
