Springfield Enjoys Summer BBQ

Chabad of Springfield, Illinois directed by Rabbi Mendy and Mrs. Sara Turen, hosted a beautiful summer backyard barbecue with over 65 people in attendance.
The state capital’s Jewish community enjoyed a buffet of kosher sausages, hamburgers, and shish kebobs followed by a sweet table of desserts.
Rabbi Turen also addressed the crowd on the significance of Chof Av, marking 75 years since Reb Levik’s passing and spoke of the urgency for the coming of Moshiach. Many Jews had the opportunity to put on Tefillin.
