On Sunday, in an impressive ceremony, Yossi Tenenboim, the son of the Rebbe’s shluchim in Hewlett, Long Island, Rabbi Nochem and Rivkie Tenenboim, celebrated his bar mitzvah with hundreds of community members in attendance. After laying tefillin on the many male guests, the Supervisor of the Town of Hempstead, NY, Mr. Donald Clavin surprised the crowd and presented Yossi with an official declaration, declaring Sunday “Yossi Tenenboim Day”, in appreciation for the years of service the Tennenboim family has provided for the local community.
