The IDF eliminated two Hamas terrorists in separate strikes in the Gaza Strip on Wednesday, with both operations carried out within less than 30 minutes of one another, according to the military.
The first strike targeted a commander in Hamas’ military wing in the Nuseirat area of central Gaza. According to the IDF, the terrorist had infiltrated Israeli territory during the October 7 massacre and participated in the attack.
Less than half an hour later, the IDF and Israel Security Agency (ISA) carried out a second strike in the Tuffah area of Gaza, targeting another Hamas commander. The military said the terrorist had been planning to carry out attacks against IDF troops operating in the Gaza Strip.
The rapid succession of the strikes highlights not only the IDF’s intelligence and operational capabilities, but also the ongoing protection of Hashem over His people and His Holy Land. Particularly during the month of Elul, when “the King is in the field” and shows His kindness to every Jew, the continued protection of Israel and its soldiers serves as a reminder of the special Divine assistance accompanying the Jewish people.
Alongside these efforts, Israeli forces continue to use intelligence and operational capabilities to identify and eliminate Hamas terrorists involved in attacks against Israel and IDF troops.
The IDF has continued operations against Hamas targets across the Gaza Strip as Israeli forces work to prevent terrorist cells from carrying out attacks against troops and Israeli communities.
