In the new release, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Amar performs nine sections from the Shabbos and Yom Tov Shacharis Davening, incorporating Chabad niggunim taught by the Rebbe over the years. The project seeks to remain faithful to the words of the prayers while bringing greater vitality, depth and dveikus to the avodah of Davening.

The project takes its name from its central idea: “Davening With a Niggun” – bringing niggun into Tefillah. The concept was developed in the Ohr Menachem community in Ashdod, which includes hundreds of participants, many of whom have gone on to become committed Chassidim.

Through the Niggunim, the Shabbos Davening take on a sense of warmth, longing and inner connection, encouraging davening with greater patience and feeling. The project is also intended for use in schools and Anash communities, helping transform davening from routine recitation into genuine Avodah Shebalev – heartfelt service of Hashem.

The release features nine prayer selections and is being presented especially in honor of the month of Elul, a time dedicated to introspection, Teshuvah and strengthening one’s connection with Hashem.
