The 12th General Sefer Torah for Jewish Unity will be completed and welcomed in a special ceremony in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on Sunday, 14 Mar-Cheshvan (October 25), at 5:30 p.m. Argentina time. The event will take place at the “La Rural” venue in Buenos Aires and will be broadcast live through Chabad.org.
The ceremony will be attended by prominent rabbanim and leaders, including Rabbi Kalman Ber Shlita, Chief Rabbi of Israel and president of the Chief Rabbinate Council; Rabbi Tzvi Yechiel Grunblatt Shlita, head Shliach and director of Chabad institutions in Argentina; and Rabbi Moshe Shmuel Oirbach, chairman of the World Committee for Writing General Unity Sifrei Torah.
The event will celebrate Jewish unity through the Torah, bringing Jews together around the completion and Hachnasas Sefer Torah.
