The song tells the powerful story of the Minchas Elazar of Munkatch ZT”L and the cry of a child who simply wanted to hear the Shofar. The poignant story serves as a powerful reminder of the deep bond between a father and his children, as well as the connection between a Yid and the Ribono Shel Olam.
The new live performance features Shaya Lebron alongside child soloist Shaya Goldman, accompanied by the Mendy H Band and the Shira Choir, led by Yoely Horowitz. The arrangement was produced by Mendy Herskowitz, with mixing by Shloime Wechter.
The rendition is being released as Jews around the world prepare for Rosh Hashanah and the days of Teshuvah, bringing the moving message of “Shofar” to listeners ahead of the Yom Tov.
