Shluchim in Ukraine Distribute Thousands of Pesach Packages

Following the harshest winter since the outbreak of the war, the Rebbe’s shluchim across Ukraine have completed their preparations for Pesach. As part of these efforts, and through the initiative and support of the Federation of Jewish Communities of Ukraine, thousands of beautifully prepared Yom Tov packages were distributed—as in previous years—to tens of thousands of Jewish households throughout the country.
The packages include hand-baked matzah, wine, grape juice, a Seder plate, a set for the four cups, Yom Tov and Shabbos candles, a Ukrainian-translated Haggadah, informational materials about the holiday, as well as towels and a tablecloth for Yom Tov.
This year, a new initiative was introduced: Jewish children studying in Cheder in the city of Dnipro placed stickers on matzos designated for soldiers on the front lines, featuring messages and drawings of encouragement, heartfelt Yom Tov wishes, and prayers for their safety, freedom, and the Geulah.
At the same time, continuing a tradition since the fall of communism, large public Sedarim will be held in 41 major cities across Ukraine, with thousands expected to participate.
