Sefer Torah Completed in Memory of Legendary Shliach

Last Wednesday, 11 Menachem Av, over 1,000 people joined to celebrate the completion of a Sefer Torah, written in memory of Rabbi Mordechai Anati, founder of Beis Moshiach Center in Lauderhill, Florida, donated by his son-in-law and daughter R’ Aryeh and Mrs. Chana Gayer.
The event was set to mark one year since the sudden passing of the legendary Shliach of the Rebbe MH”M.
Another dedication occurred at the event, when the community inaugurated their newly renovated and expanded shul, which came as a result of their exponential growth.
Immediately after the writing of the letters at the end of the procession, the new and magnificent Mitzvah Tank appeared before the audience, which was also inaugurated at the event’s tail end.
Following hakafos, the crowd entered a huge, air-conditioned tent that was prepared for a luxurious seudas mitzvah.
The table of honor was honored in their presence by the important rabbis: Rabbi Daniel Aharon Shahino – Rabbi of the Beis Moshiach Congregation, Shlichim Rabbi Itamar Taktuk – Rosh Yeshiva of the semicha program, members of the board Rabbi Chaim Shlomo Cohen, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Hakohen Hendel, and Rabbi Dovid Raphael Bannon, who on this occasion handed out semicha certificated to the bochurim who finished the year’s program.
In addition, Rabbi Shneur Zalman Dickstein, the community’s newest Shliach, relayed the Rebbe’s blessings to the community.
A table of honor was set up for the center’s dedicated Shlucim: Rabbi Yaniv Mor-Yosef, Rabbi Dovi Alperovich, Rabbi Shlomi Ben Shimon and Rabbi Simcha Cohen.
