He was thanked for his unwavering support of Israel and his efforts against antisemitism, choosing to end his tenure with this meaningful visit.
During his visit, Mayor Adams remarked: “I have been here before during my term, and as it concluded, I wanted to return to Israel to let you know I serve you as Mayor—but I want to continue carrying the title that matters most to me: I am your brother. Thank you!” He also placed a personal note in the Wall and signed the guestbook: “God is real and life has proven it—may the prayers from this Wall become a reality in our lives.”
Adams concluded his visit with a tour of the new archaeological excavations in the Western Wall tunnels, viewing artifacts from the destruction of the Temple, and explored the recently opened “Gate of Heaven” exhibit.
