Thousands of Yidden from across Eretz Yisroel began making their way to the Kosel, gathering at the remnant of the Beis Hamikdash to Daven, read Megillas Eicha, and recite Kinnos mourning the Churban, while yearning and praying for the coming of the Geulah Sheleimah and the rebuilding of the Third Beis Hamikdash.
Among those in attendance were former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, former IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Gadi Eisenkot, National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir, Economy Minister Nir Barkat, Jerusalem Mayor Moshe Lion, and other public figures.
The steady stream of visitors is expected to continue throughout the night and into Tisha B’Av, with tens of thousands anticipated to visit the Kosel before the conclusion of the fast.
