Last night, we received a panicked call that an antisemitic inscription had been sprayed on the new ‘Mitzvah Tank’ while it was parked in SoHo, the heart of Manhattan on Broadway.
The NYPD took this seriously and are launching an investigation. We thank them for their strong response.
We are proud to help and assist the community and Jewish passers-by in Manhattan, and make available Jewish services for them, such as: putting on Tefillin, Shabbos candles, Torah lessons and more – as encouraged and instructed by the Rebbe.
The Mitzvah Tanks and our dear volunteers will continue to operate with all their might, without any hesitation or panic, and will see to it that instead of ‘hate’ we add more ‘light’ and activity, until we have the Geulah!
In fact, already today, we are back to our regular activities…
