New Yeshiva in Hungary Welcomes Talmidei Hashluchim
With lively dancing and heartfelt singing, the new Yeshivas Tomchei Tmimim Austro-Hungary in Mosonmagyaróvár, Hungary, joyfully welcomed the group of Talmidei Hashluchim arriving straight from Beis Chayeinu – 770 • Read More, Photos, Watch
The yeshiva, which opened this past Elul, was established to provide a strong chinuch framework for children of shluchim across Europe, alongside boys from Anash and mekuravim families. Located near the Austrian border, about 35 minutes from Vienna International Airport, the yeshiva offers both spiritual and physical support for its students.
This year’s talmidei hashluchim are: Moshe Alperovitz, Binyomin Goldstein, Yisroel Gershovitz, Dovid Lipsh, Shmulik Eckstein, Zevi Katan, Sholom Rivkin, and Yisrolik Mendelson.
Rosh Yeshiva Rabbi Chaim Fieldsteel noted: “Our foremost responsibility is the wellbeing of every bochur—in body, mind, and soul—so he can grow into a true chossid, yerei Shamayim, and lamdan.”
Rabbi Shmuel Glitzenstein, shliach to Budapest and director of the yeshiva, added that the new talmidei hashluchim will help foster a warm, family atmosphere that supports every student’s growth.
