A new sefer, Eish Tamid, by Rabbi Eliyahu Shlomo Ezagui, a Shochet and Bodek, has recently been published, bringing together a collection of Torah insights and in-depth discussions in Niglah, Chassidus, Halacha, and Aggadah.
The title Eish Tamid refers to the constant fire of Torah. The Torah is compared to fire, as the possuk says, “Is not My word like fire, says Hashem?” Just as the fire on the Mizbeiach was required to burn constantly and never be extinguished, every Jew is called upon to keep the fire of Torah burning within them.
The Sefer contains original Torah insights, halachic discussions, and in-depth analysis of the Gemara and Poskim, alongside teachings from Chassidus.
The sefer was published with haskamos and letters of blessing from Rabbanim, Roshei Yeshivah, and Admorim, who praised the author’s breadth of knowledge and encouraged the continued growth and dissemination of Torah.
Following its publication, the sefer was distributed among Anash and Rabbanim in Nachalas Har Chabad, as well as in shuls and yeshivos throughout Eretz Yisroel.
In keeping with Minhag Chabad, a copy was sent immediately after printing to the Library of Agudas Chassidei Chabad at 770.
The Rebbe Melech HaMoshiach derives great nachas from the writing and publication of Chiddushei Torah, especially seforim that expand Torah learning and spread the wellsprings of Chassidus outward.
