Following a year of intensive learning and an extensive Mivtza Torah, students of the Tomchei Temimim Yeshiva Ketanah in Moscow embarked on a special trip to 770.
During their stay, the Bochurim learned and davened near 770, while participating in shiurim and farbrengens with prominent Roshei Yeshivah and Mashpi’im.
As part of the trip, organized at the initiative of Russia’s Chief Rabbi, Rabbi Berel Lazar, the students visited the homes of several of America’s foremost Torah leaders. Among those they met were Rabbi Reuven Feinstein, Rosh Yeshivah of Yeshiva Tiferes Yerushalayim; the Bobov-45 Rebbe; and Rabbi Gavriel Zinner, renowned author of the widely acclaimed Nitei Gavriel series.
During the visits, the Bochurim were tested on the masechtos they had mastered throughout the year. The distinguished Rabbanim expressed great admiration for the students’ breadth of knowledge, diligence in learning, and the high caliber of Torah education provided by the Moscow yeshivah. The students were accompanied by the yeshivah’s Mashpia, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Willsansky, and the yeshivah’s director, Rabbi Chaim Moshe Weber, who introduced them to the Rabbanim.
The inspiring journey, made possible through the support of the 770 Russia Foundation, headed by Rabbi Yehuda Davidov, marked the culmination of a year of dedicated effort and achievement. The experience provided the Bochurim with renewed inspiration and spiritual strength as they prepare for the upcoming yeshivah year.
