An explosive FPV drone launched by Hezbollah struck the vehicle of IDF Northern Command commander Maj. Gen. Rafi Milo during an operational visit in southern Lebanon, in what is now being described as a narrowly avoided tragedy.
According to multiple reports, the incident occurred while Maj. Gen. Milo was touring the area with senior officers as part of an operational field assessment. Shortly before the strike, the commander and a female staff officer exited the vehicle. Seconds later, the drone impacted the empty vehicle, which sustained damage.
Military sources confirmed that no injuries were caused in the incident.
