A significant fire broke out on Sunday at the Chabad House in Orlando, completely engulfing the building in flames. Fortunately, there were no reported injuries.
Six Torah scrolls were successfully rescued, including one that had survived the Holocaust. Students from the adjacent Jewish school were evacuated safely as a precaution. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
Rabbi Shalom Dubov expressed his gratitude, stating, “Thank God no one was harmed; Hashem performed a great miracle for us here.” He noted that all the Torah scrolls were saved, including one that had recently been acquired and will, G-d willing, be placed in the Aron Kodesh on Yom Kippur.
