A fire broke out today on the second floor of 556 Crown Street, the home of Machon Chana School. Firefighters rushed to extinguish a fire in one of the seminary girl’s apartments which was inside the walls of the building, leading to extensive damage despite the lack of obvious flames. As reported earlier on Chabadinfo.com, a fire has broken out today at a newly purchased building serving as dormitory for the Kvutzah Bochurim, which left many bochurim without a place to sleep. Approximately 1:30 PM Wednesday afternoon ranging flames were shooting out of a window on the third floor of 755 Eastern Parkway – A new Yeshivah building purchased earlier this year to serve as a dormitory for the kvutza bochurim. Firefighters quickly arrived at the scene and issued an “all-hands alert”, evacuating all the residents immediate and ultimately extinguishing the fire.
