In Rudny, Kostanay Region, a special preparatory gathering was held ahead of Rosh Hashanah and the Yemim Noraim, initiated by the Rebbe Melech HaMoshiach’s Shliach, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Zalmanov.

Participants heard words of inspiration about the meaning of Rosh Hashanah, the importance of hearing the Shofar and accepting Hashem’s Kingship, along with a Shiur on the Mitzvah of Tashlich and how it can be observed at home.

The gathering included the sounding of the Shofar, a review of the Mitzvos and customs of Rosh Hashanah, and an explanation of the traditional Simanim and order of the brachos.

Rabbi Menachem Zalmanov spoke about the deeper meaning of the Shofar, which awakens a person to renew his connection with Hashem and inspires a renewed desire for His Kingship throughout the world. The gathering concluded with a joint Tefillah for the revelation of Moshiach and the building of the Third Beis HaMikdash.

As part of the preparations, participants received Yom Tov packages containing Kiddush sheets, apples, honey, Shabbos and Yom Tov candles, and Tefillah materials, enabling families to properly prepare their Yom Tov tables at home. Special activity kits were also distributed to children.

Chabad Shluchim additionally conducted home visits, distributing kosher food packages and informational materials to isolated Jewish residents so that everyone could celebrate Rosh Hashanah properly.

The Jews of Rudny received the initiative with excitement, resolving to add in Mitzvos and good deeds as they prepare for the new year, together with a heartfelt request for the revelation of the Rebbe Melech HaMoshiach and the Geulah HaAmitis VeHaShleimah speedily in our days.
