Israeli Heritage Minister Amichai Eliyahu paid a visit to Cheder Menachem in Moscow, where he was warmly welcomed by the school’s administration and staff.
Hosting the visit were Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Lipsker, director of Moscow’s educational institutions, and Rabbi Avraham Gvirtz, director of Cheder Menachem, who accompanied the minister throughout the visit and presented the school’s educational activities and accomplishments.
During the visit, Eliyahu toured the classrooms and facilities, met with members of the staff, and gained a firsthand look at the flourishing Torah education being provided to Jewish children in the Russian capital.
The visit highlighted the remarkable growth of Jewish life and Chinuch in Moscow, where educational institutions continue to expand and thrive under the leadership of the local rabbanim and shluchim.
